Forced to spend his summer holidays with his muggle relations, Harry Potter gets a real shock when he gets a surprise visitor: Dobby the house-elf, who warns Harry Potter against returning to Hogwarts, for terrible things are going to happen. Harry decides to ignore Dobby’s warning and continues with his pre-arranged schedule. But at Hogwarts, strange and terrible things are indeed happening: Harry is suddenly hearing mysterious voices from inside the walls, muggle-born students are being attacked, and a message scrawled on the wall in blood puts everyone on his/her guard – “The Chamber Of Secrets Has Been Opened. hi,
i am reviewing a classic favourite of mine, Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets by JK Rowling. THe story kicks off by Harry desperate to return to Hogwarts, shcool, his friends and quiddich. However a surprise guest arrives in the form of a house elf named Dobby who warns harry not to return to hogwarts. He leaves Harry with a parting warning and an cream cake smeared on a guest of the dursleys. He is rescued from his cousins by a his best mate Ron and a flying car. Harry is going to Hogwarts! However it isnt that simple, the platform 9 and 3/4’s is blocked so their trip to Hogwarts isnt by train but by flying car. This is only the start of a dramatic year for Harry who discovers a new ability to converse with snakes and when mysterious attacks on students are happening on muggleborns Harry encounters his dark enemy Lord Voldemort once again. . .
I would recommend anyone who enjoys adventure and fantasy to read this book and the entire Harry Potter series because although it may seem a bit “young” for highschool students i find this book is great for people of all ages
    :)

Though harry longs to be back at his loved wizard school hogwarts he is stuck spending the summer with his selfish muggle relations. Soon, harry gets an unexpected visit from a house elf who warns him never to return to hogwarts as their a grave secrets that must never be unraveled. Harry ignores these warnings but as he soon realises terrible secrets have been unfolded and an unknown enemy lurks behind the chamber of secrets.

Another book to add to a great series of books by J.K Rowling.

But harry does not listen to him and is up for the challenges that lie ahead of him. When the chambers of secrets is opened harry is in danger and many bad things start to happen. I loved this book because it had a great story line and was well explained! My favourite bit would of course be the bit with Dobby the Elf! My favourite character would be Gilderoy Lockheart because he is so vain and funny and I think it’s funny that at the end his memory gets erased so he forgets he is a wizard. I don’t think I had a least favourite part, I loved it all!

I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone but I would say it would be better if they read the first one first.

This book is the second book in the Harry Potter series and it’s even better than the first book. It’s about Harry, Ron and Hermiony in ther second year at Hogwarts and once again there’s a mystery. A new Defence against the dark arts teacher, who’s a complet nut takes an interst in Harry because he’s famous and he also likes to brag about himself. In a detention spent helping him with fan mail Harry begins to here voices in the walls. He finds out that if he follows the voice there ends up being some one frozen and still. When Hermiony is the one of the victims Harry and Ron really want to find out what this monster is and what it wants. They face danger as they try to solve the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets.
I recommend this book to everyone because it’s full of everything that makes a book good and you wont be able to put it down.

This book is the second in the Harry Potter series and definitely isn’t a let down.
I have just finished reading this book and definitely loved it! I can kind of relate to the characters because they have that sense of curiosity and wanting to know more all the time and never satisfied with the information they’ve got.
I think that someone looking for a classic mystery that is full of problems and solutions would definitely be the perfect person to read this book, and the whole series.

I recommend this book to people aged around 12+ because even much older women and men enjoy this read but not below 12 because the book has to be understood fully!

I loved this book so much and am planning on reading the full series very soon.

This movie is a LEGEND!!! I love it even though when I first saw it but I totally freaked out and couldn’t sleep. (when i was eight) I’ve read the book as well but I reckon that the book isn’t as scary so it is suitable for people over nine but I’d wouldn’t recommend it to someone under twelve because they can get nightmares or get scared! But overall I love the book and the movie but I reckon the movie is easier for me to understand and follow! :)

I definitely liked this book and the movie better than the first! This book is about when Harry is warned not to go back to Hogwarts because terrible things are going to happen. But Harry goes anyway and when he gets there, Harry, Ron and Hermione discover there’s a dangerous chamber hidden somewhere in the school! My favourite part is when they discover where the chamber is and open it. My favourite character is Colin, the one who takes all the photos. This book definitely explains the story well. I’d definitely recommend it :)

i didn’t enjoy this book as much as i have enjoyed the others. i found this book a bit oring and wasn’t very exciting until the end where harry kills the giant beast and saves ginny. i thought it was really cute of harry to save ginny. my favourite peart of the book is where he slaighs the giant beast. i thought it was really brave of him. if you are reading the harry potter series i do recomened you to read it because then you can say you have read the whole entire series of harry potter. :)
